The Pilot

Now that we’ve explored the foundational relationships between the mother (conscious mind), the inner child (subconscious mind), and the 12 disciples (aspects of the mind), it’s time to introduce a new figure: the pilot. This role is critical because it serves as the central guiding force for the entire bus of consciousness.

The pilot is the one who sits in the front seat—not as a passenger, but as the conscious entity that helps bring order and direction to the bus and its passengers. The driver, or the inner child, is always steering, but the pilot provides the wisdom and guidance that helps the child understand where to go, how to navigate challenges, and how to ensure that the bus is heading in the right direction.

The Role of the Pilot

The pilot is the external consciousness, the higher wisdom, or the guiding force that sits in the front seat of your mind. This role can be filled by any figure that represents the highest source of wisdom in your life. For some, this might be a religious figure; for others, it could be a personal mentor, a philosophical figure, or even a fictional character that represents wisdom and guidance.

In Christianity, for example, many individuals choose to install Jesus as their pilot. They ask themselves questions like, “What would Jesus do?” as a way to guide their actions, thoughts, and decisions. Jesus, in this context, becomes the central source of wisdom, compassion, and direction.

However, the pilot doesn’t have to be religious. It could be someone or something that represents the qualities you most want to embody or that aligns with your values and purpose in life. For some, the pilot might be a personal mentor who has helped shape their beliefs and actions. For others, it could be a figure like Master Yoda, who represents wisdom and mastery over self-discipline. Still, others might choose a more metaphorical or fictional guide—perhaps Batman, who embodies justice, resilience, and moral clarity.

The key is that the pilot is someone or something that brings clarity, wisdom, and order to your mind. They don’t steer the bus directly; rather, they provide guidance to the inner child and help discipline the 12 disciples. With the guidance of the pilot, the mind becomes a well-organized and purposeful system, rather than a chaotic and reactive one.

Why the Pilot Seat is So Important

The pilot seat is an important position because it directs the flow of consciousness. While the driver (the inner child) is constantly moving forward through time and responding to the world, it can often become distracted, fearful, or confused by the voices of the 12 disciples. The inner child can get lost in the noise of its own internal dialogue—especially when the disciples are undisciplined or in conflict.

When the pilot is installed, they provide a sense of higher guidance that helps the inner child discern the best course of action. The pilot can act as the true North for the mind, a steady compass that helps the child navigate through life with purpose and wisdom.

Think of the pilot as the ultimate mentor or teacher. When the inner child feels uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure of what to do, the child can turn to the pilot for reassurance, wisdom, and direction. The pilot doesn’t impose; instead, the pilot reflects the higher truth that the child can then integrate into their decisions and actions.

The Non-Physical Entities: The Inner Child and the Pilot

Both the inner child and the pilot are non-physical entities. They aren’t simply psychological archetypes—they are manifestations of deeper spiritual realities. They are borrowed from the soul level, which means they hold the keys to accessing higher consciousness and creative power.

  • The Inner Child is your sub-consciousness, rooted deeply in the past, in the memories, experiences, and emotions that have shaped you. It is non-physical in nature but extremely powerful in its ability to influence your actions and reactions. The inner child holds the unfiltered essence of your soul’s needs and desires. It can become the most influential driving force when nurtured and understood.

  • The Pilot is your super-consciousness, the higher wisdom that connects you to the spiritual realm. It represents your higher self or divine wisdom. The pilot, often embodying a figure such as Jesus, Master Yoda, or any wise teacher you choose, holds the broader perspective that your inner child often lacks. The pilot sees the big picture, guiding the bus (your consciousness) in alignment with your soul’s purpose.

Together, the inner child and the pilot create a profound transformation within the bus of consciousness. They are non-physical guides, helping you navigate the physical world with higher wisdom and creative power. This union of sub-consciousness (the child) and super-consciousness (the pilot) gives birth to a new level of awareness that is rooted in divine, timeless truth.

Transforming the Bus into Jesus’s Amazing Technicolor Dream-Bus

When the inner child and the pilot work together in harmony, they turn the ordinary bus of your mind into a technicolor bus of consciousness. The shift occurs when the inner child is no longer driven by fear, pain, or misperceptions, and the pilot is firmly in place, guiding the bus with clarity and love.

Before this transformation, the physical aspects of consciousness, your 12 deciples of mind - your thoughts, feelings, and physical observations—often dominated the bus, controlled the bus, leading you to operate primarily through survival instincts and limited thinking. But once the pilot is in place, and the inner child is nurtured, the bus is no longer restricted by the physical world.

Now, the amazing technicolor dream-bus is driven by imagination—the creative, non-physical force that has always been present but often overshadowed by the physical observers. Imagination, once a passive observer, becomes the driving force of reality. The 12 diciplines of mind; now working with your non-physical guides—the inner child and the pilot—hold the keys to creating a new reality, one where you are no longer bound by physical limitations.

The Imagination as the Driving Factor

This shift—where imagination becomes the driving force—is a pivotal moment in your spiritual journey. It’s when you move beyond reacting to the world around you and begin creating the world around you. The technicolor bus is no longer a passive vehicle—it’s an active, vibrant expression of your soul.

In practical terms, this means that the thoughts, emotions, and creative impulses you generate from the inner child and the pilot are what now shape your reality. You are no longer constrained by external events and circumstances. Instead, you have the power to choose how you experience life, with imagination as your key tool.

  • The inner child, now in alignment with your 12 diciplines of mind; creates from a place of unfiltered joy, wonder, and spontaneity. When this part of you is nurtured, it brings forth imaginative solutions, fresh ideas, and an openness to new possibilities.

  • The pilot, drawing from the higher wisdom of the spiritual realm, helps you channel this imagination with purpose and direction. The pilot ensures that your creative impulses are aligned with your highest potential and divine purpose.

The Pilot’s Relationship to the Inner Child and the Disciples

Once the pilot is installed, it’s important to remember that their role is not to take over the child’s journey or to control the disciples. Instead, the pilot’s job is to guide. The pilot’s wisdom is meant to calm the child, discipline the disciples, and provide the child with the confidence and clarity it needs to move forward.

In practice, the relationship between the pilot and the child will evolve over time. The more you practice tuning in to your pilot’s guidance, the more the inner child will begin to trust the pilot’s wisdom. This process strengthens the bond between the mother, the child, and the pilot—creating a unified, harmonious flow of energy within your mind and life.

The 12 disciples, once disciplined and aligned, will naturally follow the wisdom of the pilot. They will trust the pilot’s guidance and will act in unison to create the reality you desire. The pilot will ensure that each disciple is serving the highest good, helping the inner child stay on course and reach the desired destination.
