Understanding the Parts

In the previous chapter, we outlined the image of the Technicolor Bus, representing your consciousness, moving forward through time. Now, let’s break down the individual parts of this metaphor - the Bus, Driver, Pilot Seat, 12 Disciples, and the concept of Discipline - to fully understand how each aspect works and what role it plays in shaping your reality.

The Bus – Your Consciousness

The Bus represents your consciousness, the vessel that carries you through life’s journey. It moves forward through time, reacting to the world, encountering challenges, and experiencing growth. The bus itself cannot stop; it will always move forward. But you can influence where it goes and how it moves by guiding the mind, tuning your awareness, and choosing your direction.

You’re not a passive passenger - you are the one who can direct the bus. The question is: Are you the one in control of it?

The Driver – Your Inner Child / Subconscious Mind

The Driver represents your inner child, your subconscious mind. This part of you holds the wheel, steering the bus through life. The key here is that the driver goes where it wants, and it is often driven by past experiences and old programming. It is not inherently a problem, but it operates according to the patterns and beliefs it has absorbed over time.

The driver does not trust the conscious mind (the mother) to lead because it has not been shown that it is safe to do so. It acts from instinct, based on the programming and rules it has learned in the past. It is not concerned with logic or reasoning - it is simply following what it has been taught.

This driver is not trying to make bad decisions; it is simply doing its job as it knows it. The problem arises because it is not yet working in harmony with the mother (the conscious mind), and thus, the bus may go in directions you don’t want.

The 12 Faculties of Your Mind

The 12 passengers on the bus represent the 12 faculties of the mind, each one a unique mental ability (e.g., imagination, faith, strength, wisdom). Right now, these passengers are disjointed, and they may shout at the driver, pulling the bus in different directions. Some might be focused on fear, others on hope, others on conflict or indifference - all arguing over which way the bus should go.

These passengers are mental faculties that can help steer the bus, but only if they are aligned and disciplined. If the disciples are not working together, the bus is being pulled in different directions, making the journey chaotic.

The Pilot Seat – Your Higher Self / Christ Consciousness

The Pilot Seat is reserved for the higher self - divine wisdom and truth. This seat is meant to be filled with the guidance that directs the mind with clarity, peace, and grace. Right now, Jesus is not in the pilot seat because the disciples are not aligned. The bus is off course because the mental faculties are not aligned with the higher wisdom.

The goal is to train the subconscious (driver) and the mental faculties (disciples) so that the higher self can take the seat of guidance. This is the ultimate transformation of the mind - allowing your higher self to direct the journey with perfect clarity and divine purpose.

Discipline – The Key to Mastery

Discipline comes from the same root as disciple - meaning training and guidance. To discipline the mind is to teach the driver (the subconscious mind) and the disciples (the mental faculties) how to work together in harmony. This requires the mother (conscious mind) to step into a position of leadership, with trust in the divine wisdom that can guide the journey.

Discipline does not mean controlling or suppressing the mind; it means training the mind to release old, limiting beliefs and to function with clarity, purpose, and alignment. When the driver trusts the conscious mind to lead, and when the disciples align with the higher wisdom, the bus can go wherever it needs to go.

The Four Key Phrases: Reprogramming with Love

To ease the subconscious (the driver) and align the disciples, there are only four key phrases that should be spoken to the subconscious (inner-child/driver/ego):

  1. I’m sorry. – Apologize for abandoning the child (subconscious mind), for ignoring it, for feeding it negative programming.
  2. Please forgive me. – Ask for forgiveness for the fear, shame, and confusion placed in the mind, for all the false beliefs it has absorbed.
  3. I love you. – Express love and reassurance to the child, letting it know that it is safe, worthy, and supported.
  4. Thank you. – Show gratitude for the mind’s loyalty, for its willingness to follow your guidance, and for its role in protecting you.

These phrases work as a reprogramming tool, allowing the child (subconscious mind) to release old fears and anxieties, making space for a new way of thinking - one aligned with truth, love, and divine wisdom.

The Transformation

When you speak these phrases with sincerity and love, you deprogram the subconscious mind. The driver will relax, and at that point, you will begin to create a relationship with it.

The relationship between the mother and child is the most important relationship in all of creation; your inner-child can forclose on the morgage of your soul and end your phyiscal isntance.
